The Compliance Doctrine is one of the basi cprinciples on Documentary L/C.Itcan，ononehand，set up the liability and/or responsibility for all parties concerned on L/C；on the other hand，it also brings some obstacles for the performance of L/C in the real international business practices.For the sake of protecting his own profits，each party under L/C makes the dif erent interpretation respectively for this doctrine.This essay mainly focuses to explore the respectiveinfl uences of the Compliance Doctrine on issuing bank by the detailed cases with the analysis on the ground that the proper solutions，can be found out to help to solve or avoid the problems.
