Intra-industry trade has developed quickly as a new type of international trade in the past few decades. The measure of intra-industry tradeis one of the important issues in the research of intra-industry tradetheory. G L index，absolute trade volume of IIT and Greenaway & Milner method are used to analyze the general level and the structure of intra -industry trade of machinery and transport equipment in China.And some suggestions are given.
