The International Business subject has received positive and rapid development with great endeavor by China’s IB institutions and scholars. However, as a new major, there is a large proportion of people having no clear concept of IB. The objective of this paper is briefly introducing the basic concept of IB, the subject development of IB, the comparison between IB and international trade, and the academic journal and association of IB in order to lay out a clear IB framework for current and potential students.
