Abstract:On the basis of theoretical analysis, using the double logarithmic regression model with the services trade data of 36 sample countries and regions in 1997~2014, this paper analyses the change of import technology structure and its influencing factors of China’s services trade from the import sophistication standpoint. The results demonstrate that: firstly, during the sample period, the inverted pyramid structure of China’s services trade import technology has not been broken, the traditional service is still dominated. Secondly, there is a positive correlation between the level of economic development, infrastructure, openness, human capital and the import sophistication of services trade. The natural resource endowment curse does not exist in the import sophistication of services trade, foreign direct investment has insignificant reverse inhibition, but its interaction with human capital is significantly positive. Last but not the least, the influence of each factor on the import sophistication of different services trade sectors is different.
