Abstract:The Free Trade Agreement between EU and Colombia and Peru is rich in content set high standards on the aspects of good trade, services trade and intellectual property, while it made detailed provision for international emerging issues, such as sustainable development, technical assistance and cooperation. The agreement opened the government procurement of local authorities for the first time, and established domestic mechanism for consultation with civil society. Apparently, the agreement greatly accelerated the pace of EU to enter the Latin American market, and further promotes the economic integration between EU and Andean Community. Learning the characteristic clauses of the agreement will absolutely help us improve Chinese free trade agreement text, and provide a theoretical basis for Chinese Latin-American cooperation strategy
