The economic relations between Czech and China enters a new and important stage. The Czech efforts to boost economic relations with China since the 1990s have been so far unsuccessful. The Czech government and business circles heightened their attention to the intensification of the economic ties with China through a number of initiatives and programs at the beginning of the 21st century. Both Czech and China witnessed the stable increase of investment in the other territory, though far beyond the expectation of Czech. How to intensify the trade and investment between the two countries requires further concerted efforts of the two counterparts
