Abstract:With the introduction of“Industry 4.0”and“Made in China 2025”, the development of high-end manufacturing has gradually become the focus of the world. China and Germany, which is located at the terminal of the Belt and Road Initiative, are both big manufacturing countries. As the country’s strategic emerging industries, Sino-German high-end manufacturing’s trade position has become increasingly prominent. Through the grey correlation analysis of Sino-German high-end manufacturing import and export trade data in the past ten years, it can be found that the factors affecting Sino-German high-end manufacturing import and export trade are very extensive, and outward foreign direct investment is strongly related to the trade volume of China’s high-end manufacturing products imported from Germany. Institutional enrollment rate is strongly related to the trade volume of China’s high-end manufacturing products exported to Germany. Based on this, the paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the further development of Sino-German high-end manufacturing trade.
