Abstract:This paper analyzes the influence mechanism of the trade in services along the Belt and Road, and explores the pattern of services trade between China and the countries along the Belt and Road, based on the panel data of 22 countries along the routes from 2006 to 2015. It analyses the factors affecting the services trade between China and the countries along the Belt and Road, through setting up a trade gravity model taking into consideration economic development level, service industry level, openness of services trade, geographical distance, urbanization and institutional environment. According to the conclusions of the study, it puts forward the relevant policy enlightenment about promoting the development of services trade between China and the countries along the Belt and Road, and enhancing the competitiveness of China’s services trade.
