Abstract:The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development provides a comprehensive development framework, a set of clear development goals and reference standards for all countries in the world to promote and achieve the United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs). It consists of 17 overall targets and 169 specific targets with 244 indicators. The indicators are divided into general indicators, country indicators and grouped indicators, and the 211 general indicators and grouped indicators excluding country indicators are divided into three categories according to the data availability: directly accessible data indicators, indirect/modified indicators accessible data indicators and uncounted/ inaccessible data indicators. According to the China’s SDGs target to complete the score situation combined with the central and departmental development goals and tasks, 17 goals can be divided into priory goals, to ensured achieving goals and promoting goals such as three categories and determine the time nodes for each target. Proposals are put forward to improve data statistics and indicators to realize SDGs in China.
